Rift: Reality Shifting ("Rift", "we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Rift does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you create within the app is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage.
All content you create in Rift, including your desired reality scripts, journal entries, sensory anchors, and settings, is stored entirely on your device. This data is not accessible to us or any third party.
If you add photos within the app (such as profile pictures or visualization images), these are stored locally on your device. Rift does not upload, share, or transmit your photos anywhere.
Rift may request permission to send local notifications (such as nightly shifting reminders). These notifications are scheduled and triggered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
Rift offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Rift Pro"). Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and Apple's StoreKit. We also use RevenueCat to validate subscription receipts and manage entitlements on our behalf.
When you purchase or restore a subscription, a pseudonymous identifier generated by RevenueCat (and, in some cases, a hashed/anonymous version of your Apple subscription receipt) is transmitted to RevenueCat so we can confirm that the subscription is valid and unlock Pro features on your device. This data is used solely to provide the subscription service and is not used for advertising or profiling.
We do not receive your name, email, Apple ID, or payment information. For details on how Apple and RevenueCat handle this data, see the Apple Privacy Policy and the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Aside from Apple and RevenueCat (used only for subscription management as described above), Rift does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
Rift does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we do not collect data from any users, no special provisions for children's data are needed.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
